My for sale ad has been removed & I can't find you. You asked about brackets I used for my PIAA lights. I have a pair you can have. Contact me directly at: timware@att.net
Rocket,

Email sent. Hope you were asking me! Smile
i was also interested in the info.
popgun has dibs on the brackets, but i would still like the info.

DJS,

Thanks for that post. I told him in an email that someone else asked too, but couldn't remember who.

If he can't remember, maybe we can figure it out soon. Rocket said he would send them to me. I'll take some pics if the manuf. is not on them.
Is it normal for listings to drop from the site once the item is sold? I had hoped that the listings stayed, as it serves as a record for past transactions (helps me as a basis of comparison for future transactions). I had asked about a JDM seat that was for sale about 2 weeks ago, but then that listing disappeared without a trace. Now I know what happened.

I've recently realized the same thing and thought it would be nice if we were able to look through old threads. They could be a source of good information.

Perhaps adding SOLD to the subject title would serve the same purpose as deleting the thread?
Ferret started removing them after the item sold to reduce clutter.
Ads in classifieds remain posted for 60 days or until the item is sold whichever occurs first. After that they are removed.

DJS,

The brackets came the other day. Here is some quick info on them.

They are made by PRO-TEC http://www.protekk.com/index.php?main_pa...cts_id=231 and are actually steering damper clamps.

The clamps I received are 43mm size. The link to the size chart did not work. Seems to fit ok with a quick manual check though.

I was sent two, and one of them is a lot larger than the other physically. The hole is still 43mm. I'll post up a pic later.

Motorcycle Superstore has these but all sizes are not in stock. They had a size chart that shows our bike using the 43mm size.

Edit to add: I forgot to publically thank Rocket for the clamps (did via Email). Thank you Rocket for the clamps and the info!
