If we haven't, we should get a member's dogs thread going.

The bigger one is the one in the story in the previous post - his growth was permanently stunted by his medicine. The little one is growing like a weed.

Yes, outside of the city. Fenced in, lots of room for them to run. They usually follow alongside of me as I ride the trails nearby.

I honestly doubt that anyone out there is a bigger dog fan than myself. It actually pains me somewhat to step in on this one, but we've reached the point that I feel the need to make a public service announcement.
I appreciate the fact that there was an initial attempt to keep the topic motorcycle related. Most everyone here realizes that we work really hard to make sure we keep this forum "cycle-centric" . A thread that is simply a tribute to member's dogs just doesn't fit in with that focus. I really don't want to cause any hard feelings here, but it's easy enough to get sidetracked with threads that are focused on motorcycle topics. Non-motorcycle topics are a sure fire way to more locked threads. So if you can find a way to tie your dogs in with your motorcycle experience in some way, cool. Otherwise let's try to stick with the regularly scheduled programming. Thanks all.
(My dogs would be so very disappointed with me right now if they could read.)

I just received the following surprisingly erudite PM from Guth's dogs:
Quote
ear Mr Cormanus,
We know we can turn to you at this tricky time because our master (Guth) keeps mumbling about what a sh*t stirrer you are and how every time he thinks he's got his forum under control, you blurt out something and knock the whole place off the rails and anyway he's gone out for a ride on his big red CB1100 motorcycle to calm down and us dogs have taken the opportunity to check up on the forum like we do every time he goes to work or goes out for a ride and now we see it looks like he's threatened to shut down a thread if people keep talking about dogs and not CB1100s and what could be more important than dogs, I ask you?
Anyway, Guth thinks us dogs can't read, but we can and we read his forum and nice Mr Hefner's whenever he's at work or riding his CB1100 and we taught Siri on his funny tablet with pictures to bark and so now we can write but we're not very good at punctuation yet which means our sentences do go on a bit but it doesn't matter with you because so do yours and so we know you'll understand. Siri says we should put in a full stop just there so we did.
Guth has been a much better person since he bought his CB1100 and started this forum and we really want him to keep going with it because he gives us big bones to gnaw on when he's feeling guilty 'cause he's been staring at the screen and cursing you and that Terror Dactyl guy and that all turns to nothing when he gets going on the Ferret who seems to be his main target since that limey guy Tortuga cleared out; but anyway we haven't got long as he'll be back in a minute and we have to make it look like we weren't anywhere near the computer or the tablet so he doesn't figure that we can read and write and all that stuff that humans think they have a monopoly on.
So, Mr Cormanus, you do whatever you have to do to make Guth understand that has to be lots and lots and lots of talk about dogs and pictures of dogs on this here motorcycle forum and all you all have to do is call them CBDOGS and have and occasional CB1100 in a picture of a dog and it will be all be OK and if he doesn't agree we'll sneak out to the garage when he's not looking and gnaw his RLETs off.
Tell him, Mr Cormanus, tell ...

Must be time for some dog on the bike (CB1100 of course) photos.
Did the dude in Brisbane end up buying the white 2010 CB, I wonder if he owns a dog?

Very funny George. Now I know how those dog toys are getting ordered. Jack Russel Terriers are sneaky devils.
