Someone asked not too long ago about a little motorcycle emblem in the gauges of our bikes. I categorically stated it wasn't in the gauges of my 14 dlx. WRONG I WAS!

Tonight Dec 31 I was taking a picture of the end of year mileage for my records and when looking at the pic I noticed that little mc emblem and a whole lot more which only shows up in this pic. I have never seen this stuff before

ST Trip A, B and C , the grip heater emblem, something that says "Today" and "air" and "days".. all kinds of little things I never noticed before, some I can't make out. wonder what it all is for?

Interesting. I've never seen it before either. I had to enlarge your photo to see what you were referring to. The fact that I've never seen it illuminated makes me think it's something I don't want to see! I wonder what it could mean. The only thing that comes to mind is that if you see the motorcycle symbol light up, you're most likely in the midst of an alien abduction.

Yea if you can blow it up on an Ipad or maybe on a PC screen you can easily see it. I didnt even see it when I was taking the pic, only when I downloaded the pic to move it to my CB1100 file.

It means Honda planned other features and options, that have not been made available to us at this point in time.

Do some of those things appear when you're using the trip computer?

Interesting. I have never noticed those before. The air must mean air temperature? Your ST has air temperature on it doesn't it? I thought my BMW's and ST's both had it.

Cormanus there is no C mode, no today anything, no air anything, no motorcycle emblem, that comes up on the display anytime

drog yes the ST has an air temp gauge

It's probably for goodies that are on other countries models of CB, or they use this display on other models that have things like air temperature. I know that the dash of my VW GTI has a bunch of icons in the IP that are never illuminated when I start the car. I always figured it was for things that are on the European models.

I am sitting at work doing my stuff and I am going home this afternoon and look at mine. This makes me real curious and it is funny the things you never notice. thanks Ferret
