I hear you, insurance prices could be rediculous. You should see if the driver you rear ended is making a claim against you. If he is then either way your insurance will go up. If so you might as well get your bike fixed too. If you settle with the other driver without him going through insurance then you should be O.K.

I saw some parts on eBay. Maybe message the sender to see what else they've got.
