Dunlop or Bridgestone?

Gads just looked at Partzilla and it's $160 there. Don't think I paid that much for my PR3.

Yeah, I paid around $130 for my PR3. The Bridgestone was bald at 6K miles. The PR3 currently has 8K miles on it and doesn't even look half way worn.

$104 for a front BT-54 from Chaparral. I've bought from them for twenty years and highly recommend them.

I knew I could prob find the tire cheaper elsewhere but I try to keep the local folks in business as long as my patronage is appreciated and I'm treated respectfully. Funny about that CB front tire being pretty much bald now at 4400 miles while the rear appears almost new. The exact REVERSE was true on my Guzzi V7R which is rolling on Pirelli Sport Demons. At approx. 3800 miles the rear was toast and the front looked great. I'm pretty good about keeping the correct PSI, I don't ride exceptionally hard into/out of corners etc. I'll look around here on our forum over the summer for opinions on other brands when I go to replace the rear and front at the same time in the late fall.

What we have found is like other bikes the rear on the CB actually wears faster than the front, however from measuring new CB tires we found the fronts on the CBs have a lot less rubber to begin with, so wear out quicker than the rears even though they are wearing slower.

I love the BS T-30 for the front. Seems to be wearing quite well, grips excellent. I think it was $108.00 shipped.

I've been wondering about fork braces, has anyone discovered that they improve front tire wear on the CB?

4000 miles on my PR3's and they look like new which has been my experience with these multi compound tires on my last bike.
