Looks good. Not sure it's an ideal first bike, but I'd be hard pressed to pass up such a good deal.

I was wrong. Bike not in Austin but in El Paso Texas. It is a long way to anyplace. Was previously listed last month at $4,500 so big price drop.

I would check that Vin and title before handing over the cash.

Just saying. But if checks out, it is a heck of a deal, or steal.😀

I will be driving by El Paso in two weeks, so I may stop and look, but next week I plan to look at another BMW

Yeah, El Paso. I am in Dallas do I've been talking with the seller trying to arrange a time to pick it up. After I check the VIN of course...

Of course...hope to read of your followup impressions of bike & "rest of story" here after your acquisition!...for your sake...hope the seller does not read all the comments here about such a good deal & back out of your impending purchase!...look forward to your further posts!...

Buy it, 3500 doesn't get you much these days. You can own that bike for several years and still get your money back. Easy bike to ride beginner or not. 17k is not high mileage and bikes with 500 to 2k miles are owned by people who rather look at them in their garage then actually use them. 5k would be a good price for that bike.

$3500 would make for the beginnings of a sweet low cost cafe bike...hmmmm...
