Used a clear, waterproof marine silicone and with my fingertip, forced as much as I could between black ring and mirror body, all around the edge. There's barely a gap tho' so not much can be forced in. Put a 2x4 section across the face of the mirror and then a clamp to keep it in place. 12 hours later and it seems to be holding nicely. The silicone isn't drying thoroughly super quick, a bit chilly in the garage. But with cold rains in store for us for at least the next 10 days, won't be riding much anyway.
I ditched the OEM mirrors a long time ago 'cause they remind me of snail eyes, replaced with black squarish shorties. They vibrate a little at higher speeds, but I rarely go that fast so I can live with them.
