My Corbin saddle has been leaving me looking for additional comfort so I ran up to the Sturgis rally on Monday and stopped by the Air Hawk booth. While there, the CB received several double takes and questions from passersby about how old, etc., we all know the drill. Kind comments from all.

Now, on the ride back to Nebr. on Hwy 79 I see two Harleys in my mirrors in the passing lane approaching rapidly. They disappear into my blind spot but they DON'T pass. After several moments they pull up alongside and give me the "thumbs up" and "OK" signs, obviously appreciating the CB! (It certainly wasn't me, HAD to be the bike)

BTW: The Air Hawk is a BIG improvement. I shoulda tried Air Hawk first before going with Corbin. $116.50 well spent!
I had a similar experience. I was riding on a 2-lane road in NH, when I noticed a Harley coming up behind me at high speed. He pulls up next to me on my right, gives the CB a look over, gives me a thumbsup and takes off.

Do you have a link for the Airhawk?

...should get you started. Highly recommended.
Haystack: As a victim of the stock seat on my '13, I've searched this forum for optional seating. I remember a member on here posted about how their Air Hawk seat was comfortable, but the fact that it strapped to the seat, it made him uncomfortable as it wasn't really "apart" of the bike. He ended up returning it because of this. I could imagine turns would highlight this the most seeing the subtle shift of body position. Comments on that?

Specialist8:

The Airhawk straps to the seat but it does not shift during riding. There is a "no slip" surface where it contacts the stock seat. Now, what was different is that the air bladders in the Airhawk transfer air, and hence support, as the rider shifts position and weight. This was noticeable at first but I've since become comfortable with this tendency as it is a designed feature of the seat to distribute rider weight to increase comfort. My riding duration per session gas increased since installation, and I can put the same seat on my other bikes as well.

I've taken turns and maneuvering in traffic/city riding and have had no issues.

A sport "go fast" rider would probably not find the Airhawk useful for aggressive riding. However, it will be useful for the average rider and the price is right. They are available in several sizes, but I can't tell you which size I'm using since it came from a pile of seats from the booth.

I hope that this helps.
Haystack, if you unzip the cover, there should be a tag with the model info on it. Also, on the bottom of the bladder there should be a pretty big sticker with the model number and other info on it.
Thanks for the input haystack. Heavily considering this now seeing I'm nowhere near a go-fast rider.

The Medium Cruiser seat works just fine on the CB.
Thanks Cormanus.
