But I did it again and let it just run it's course and it came up about a foot or so and then gently touched back down. Wow! Now that's torque! I'm in love with this bike all over again! And haven't spent a penny on after market parts. Now, to those of you thinking about spending $90 on the tsr air funnel thing... unless you are going to leave the side cover off so you can see that pretty gold thing... the stock cover is made in two pieces, so just pry them apart and walla! you have the same mechanical effect for free.

The first video is a guy named Shaun Smoak, he is an an avid Motovlogger and has tons of YouTube videos. He also is a tech at a large dealership in Washington state. I follow his vloggs on YouTube. That was a legitimate power wheelie he did while test riding that CB1100. He doesn't own a CB1100 but does have several rides.

jimg13 is on to something! I might have missed it, because I have little interest in wheelies per se, but after reading about his experience with the "plug" I wanted to check it out. Never looked hard at the air intake, but when I found it I saw that you can plug it with 2 fingertips! Popped out the plug the other day, and forgot about it. Went for a ride yesterday when the rain let up, and when I pulled out on the main road I opened it up in 2nd to avoid becoming a speed bump, and Wow! Big difference. I want to believe it was put there as a designed port for some kind of crankcase breather, but I dunno. If it doesn't already have a name I vote for the "jimg13 enhanced acceleration port" (jimg13EAP).

One post says it may be for the exhaust valve servo that we don't have. I think Austrailia has them. Maybe Cormanus can look at his bike and see if there is anything connected to the port.
I'll have a look and report, popgun. Of course, I'll have to find it first.

I noticed that too. Funny how people have different results. Or its just the butt dyno effect.

if you do some expensive mods to up the performance of your bike, the worst thing you can do is have it actually dyno tested

Just thinking butt, if you pull the plug and connect a hose you could run it up to a whoopy cushion and get a turbo effect every time you bounce on your seat. No need to dyno for results, I'm confident that you would feel the results!

The CB is NOT made for power, but that said, any bike pretty much is going to be limited to an extent for sound and emissions reasons, and can benefit to an extent from more air and free flowing exhaust.
