I was away from home recently and stayed in apartment equipped with Wi-Fi. No big deal there; they mostly are. However, just before turning in, I decided to do my moderator’s duty and check in on the forum. I do that most nights.

Imagine my surprise to be greeted with this screen:


I contacted Guth and the Ferret who both assured me I hadn’t. So I pondered a bit and wondered what would happen if I went off the Wi-Fi and back to my telco.

I tried and, sure enough, I was back on the forum. I’m not sure whether to be surprised or disappointed.

I also hear that the new ceramic-infused rubber treatments can block the rays coming off of your RLETs, so make sure not to use that.

Perhaps the clutch is being passive aggressive, Cormanus?

Yea that was weird. I've always wondered what people see when they are banned and try and log in. Now I know.

When Cormanus emailed me asking why he had been banned, I knew I hadn't banned him, so I checked in here, and checked the moderator log which lists all actions taken by the administrator or moderators, and that list didn't show him being banned by anyone. Also,when someone is banned, you will still see their name on all their old posts with a line thru the name and banned written below it, and this wasn't the case with Cormanus. All his posts still showed his name as normal.

Weird I tell ya
