Seems kind of short to me but that's what the manual says.
It will be nice to just cruise and not have to vary throttle or gears although it's supposed to rain until Friday!
That 600 mile oil change/check up will be sooner than later I hope.

The manual is just a suggestion based on average riders.

As long as you avoid full throttle and over 5k RPM's for the first few riding sessions, then change out the oil, you should be good.
