I totally Agree!! They were targeting riders like me that have been riding for over 45 years. Then listened to there young engineers that said let's Black out everything . If they had reversed there production number of Deluxe and standard 2014 CB1100 . The sales results would be dramatically different. Deluxe sales would have been fantastic ! They wouldn't have new bikes setting on the showroom floor 3 years later.
I bought a '13 CB that was blacked out by previous owner.... word
I drove 400 miles to get my DLX, from L.A. to Sacramento. It was a blast riding home!
