I traded my 2013 CB1100 a couple of months ago for a much lighter bike - was finding the top heavy weight of the CB a bit too much for my advanced years - however the Guzzi V9 i chose turned out to be a lemon and finished up getting my money back from the dealer and my bike which thankfully he had not sold.
How fantastic it is to have her back - i sure missed the bike and appreciate her all the more now - need to get fit as it feels just as heavy now after riding a featherweight - I'm back.

John. Great to have you back. I have a Guzzi V7R and love the dang thing but it does have some mechanical issues I need to get resolved. BTW, What's the story behind your profile picture?

Feeling your pain mate. I had a sordid affair with a V7 until things started leaking, bits fell off and I realised it's just too darn small for me (sigh). Lovely motor though and spine tingling sounds with full open pipes.
Fingers and toes crossed, touch wood and all that hope the CB goes well for us both!

popgun - no a bad deal - two trips across country back to the dealers for repairs and had to pay for the 600 mile service which had to be done by the dealer to preserve the warranty - £100s out of pocket.

MMMM interesting, i have toyed with the idea of a guzzi v7, just recently got the cb 1100 and love it, thought of maybe changing my suzuki gsr 600 for a guzzi, "bit of character type of nonsense" be interested in your experience with the guzzi, was gonna reserve judgement till august as i have v7 hire in lake como for a few days end of next month
