Hope all our members in Texas are safe, dry and undamaged.
THX for inquiring Cormanus.
Austin central's looking good so far...I even took advantage of a break in the storm just now to walk my dog to the park and back. My yard's starting to get saturated, but I'm not complaining, b/c we sure needed the rain due to the month long dry spell and very hot heat days. Unfortunately, the worse has yet to come.
I'm at Dallas/Ft. Worth airport and it is overcast but not raining.
Austin here. Killing me that i havent been able to ride this weekend. Hope everyone is safe!
Just looked at our forum members locator map, and noticed at least 4 members in the hardest hit areas around Houston. Wanted them to know they are in our thoughts and wish them the best.
Thanks for your thoughts. Yes its quite an impact here at Houston area. Luckily my neighborhood experienced no flooding and the drains handled everything effectively. Hope all other members in Houston are doing well.
Thanks for checking Cormanus.. I am at the heart of the disaster by Houston area.. Its quite an impact here.. Fortunate to let you know that my neighborhood was spared and all the drains handled the relentless deluge effectively. Hope all other members are doing well.
I joined the group in April or so and live in Orange TX. We had 48" of rain earlier this week. Most of that Tuesday evening and early Wednesday.

I did ride my bike some today but couldn't go far. It's actually been a very wet year before Harvey as I still have less than 500 miles on my 2014 CB1100.

I am very fortunate not to have water in my house.
Glad to hear our Texas contingent is okay. Hang in there gang, hurricane season is just starting.
The coverage of the devastation and human misery on TV is almost beyond belief! I can't even begin to imagine what it must be like to lose everything.
The tail end of Harvey is expected to pass over us here in the northeast Sunday night, but is not expected to be much more than a normal nor'easter-type rain storm that we get quite often.
Fingers are crossed though.
