Nemo, my wife suffers from carpal tunnel. She started using a topical cannabis cream on the painful area. She swears by it.

Brake-A-Way throttle lock for the CB1100.
As a fellow sufferer of hand and wrist issues may I recommend the Brake-A-Way. They have the CB1100 list right now.
I have one on a few bikes and they are the best thing other then real electronic cruise. It made the difference of riding or not for me.
