While the photo conjured images in my mind they were far from prurient.
My old office was near a Hooters and when I passed it, the smell of old fryer oil would waft into my helmet. I also got my first lesson in Japanese business culture in a Hooters. I didn’t drink alcohol during an initial meeting with a new client who hosted a party there. He was dismayed that I wasn’t imbibing as that was part of our initiation to that company. As penance the client put a bottle of hot sauce in front of me and said “You drink, and I’ll sign the contract.”
I downed the bottle and got the contract. From that point on I had great honor and was referred to as Mr. Tabasco Man.
