The CB1100 Community Forum is a proud supporter of The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride. One of our favorite sons, Gone in 60, will be riding proudly and dapperly on May 17th. See below:

"On Sunday the 17th of May 2026, I'm riding in The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride with fellow men and women across the globe to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer and men's mental health on behalf of Movember. Men die on average 6 years earlier than women and for largely preventable reasons. The number of men that are suffering is growing, and we need to do something about that. So, before I press my tweed and polish my boots, I'm asking you to join me in raising funds and awareness for these causes by donating what you can for this meaningful cause and to help the men we love, live happier and healthier lives."

We live in challenging, difficult times. But if you have the means and are so inclined to provide additional financial support for a worthy cause, please see link below:

Have a great weekend. David
Maybe not tomorrow afternoon? 17 May. So there's lots of time to donate.

Guys, waking up this morning after a very long and harried Saturday, and am seeing the donation notice from the CB1100 Community. I'm speechless (for once)!
Thank you so much. This means a great deal to me, and I can't think of a better way to pay tribute than to take my trusty CB1100 on the ride this year.

You guys are the greatest, and are my true riding friends. Thank you so much! I am proud to represent our community on the ride this year!

Here's wishing you all a very wonderful Easter Sunday.

Chris

Je participerai à la DGR de Paris mais sur ma seconde moto une CB 750 de 2003 ( elle aussi modifiée) , ma 1100 sera conduite par un ami  Smile
We need to send our Gone with his flashy blood bike to PARIS… cos Gone is the best NA gentleman representative‼️
Hang on, PB, we don't yet know how Serge from France scrubs up. You never know, Mr Gone may have some competition.  Confused
You gentlemen give me way too much credit. I did have to procure a slimmer tweed vest for last year’s ride, and I have let my mustache grow out - it will be curled for the big ride.

Friday evening I brought my CB1100 home from Mom’s to get her primped and proper for DGR. And, I will be sporting my recently restored and quite rare Givi briefcase on the back.

I had brought up taking one of the blood bikes with the boss, but he didn’t really express an opinion. With the generous support you guys have given me, it would only be proper to take my CB.

Besides, the boss thinks it’s a very beautiful bike. I stopped by his place yesterday to pick up a few bits and pieces for the blood bike I’m working on, and he was admiring the CB. He’s got a very impressive collection of his own, so it’s lofty praise.
