Took my partner on her first real ride on the bike. Stock seat. OEM luggage rack. No back rest. An hour out, picnic by the ocean, and an hour back. 25% city, 75% coastal highway.
She managed fine and loved the feel of the CB, but said that was about her limit. Reported that the seat is comfortable and roomy enough, but that her legs were a bit scrunched up, causing achy knees and hips after about a half-hour in the saddle. Interestingly, she said that despite the cramped knees, the smoothness of the CB's ride was threatening to lull her to sleep.
Can anyone who goes two-up on the regular recommend any modifications for passenger comfort? On my old RE Interceptor 650 the Hepco and Becker passenger peg relocator kit did wonders for her ride time on that bike.

Discontinued, but still come up now and again for sale on eBay. It provides both a wider and taller seat. 1" to 2" higher? Also, you could scoot the seat back partly onto a rear rack for even more room? Easy off and on. Very comfortable. If you can't find one on eBay, I might have an extra...

Also, I think I've come up with some good footpeg lowering options to explore:
A) eBay has up to 40mm passenger lowering pegs you can order for a CB for about $50:

--but if that is not exactly the solution to get your passenger comfortable, a more-flexible option is to...
B) buy round replacement passenger pegs like these...

... and then attach adjustable highway pegs like these...

...to the round pegs, which in theory could possibly move the passenger pegs up to 10" lower/forward! (though you have the exhaust pipe, ground, and your own rider footpeg clearance as considerations, too, of course).
I'm still ordering product and playing with options--round passenger pegs delivering tomorrow--so this is all "should work" not "will work" currently.
I can keep you updated if interested....
(PS: the dearth of responses to this thread is likely due to you and me being members of the very exclusive "partner likes riding pillion" club--I found another thread here on the forum that is folks saying that either their partner doesn't want to be a passenger, and/or folks counting blessings that's the case. I myself am very grateful my wife loves pillion! We've had stellar two-up adventures, beginning with our "first date" of sorts.)
Here's the update.
As such things go, moving the passenger pegs forward enough to prevent my wife having knee pain resulted in not enough room for my own feet, so the rider pegs also needed to go forward, which in turn necessitated moving the shifter forward
The passenger peg is moved 8" forward.
The rider peg is moved 3" forward and 1/2" lower.
This makes the new rider peg about 6" distant at a 45 degree angle downward from the new passenger peg.

This may not be the final setup, but it is solid and anything mounted to the bike has a layer of rubber protection, meaning everything can come off leaving a pristine CB1100.
If anybody wants more details on what I did please just let me know and I'll post more details.
Even if I come up with a more elegant future solution, I am now at this time free to move on to the next necessary project: figuring out how to mount side cases using the genuine Honda rack as the primary side-rack structure, having it done in time for our first 2-up trip possibly happening next month!
Lucien, what product/process did you use to move the rider pegs and levers? Looks like just a little step-out extender?
For the front footpegs:
I replaced the OEM rider pegs with adjustable McMotoparts 40mm extension front pegs that I found on eBay searching "CB1100 extended footpegs." There are several colors and styles of footpeg offered by various vendors, though McMotoparts apparently makes all the versions no matter the vendor (as far as I can tell).
These pegs consist of three main parts that bolt together:

Because of their modular nature, you can actually addan extra 40mm middle section to extend the pegs.80mm, which is what I did:

For the brake and shift levers:
Both the levers are still works in progress, and I can post an update once I have this project finished, but the current plan is to use a bolt-on brake pedal extender (currently awaiting delivery) and cutting and recombining two OEM shift levers (currently with the welder) in such a way that I end up with a lever that is nearly twice as long as the stock length.

Be interested to hear what it's like riding the bike with significantly longer levers. Presumably your toes will have to move through a much longer arc both to change gear and to stop.
Excellent observation.
I will report on both the measured differences as well as the shifting experience, my not-always-helpful size-14 feet may come to my aid in this particular case...
If the overall throw proves to be a problem, one thought is to possibly position the lever so upshifts require a smaller share of the overall arc of movement and downshifts the larger share.
Another option (particularly if cost is a concern) is removing the OEM linkage and attaching a standard-type shift lever...
