So I just bought a new 2014 model, its the black one. Which model do I have? Std or EX? Or is the EX and the Std one and the same? Im aware of the deluxe model differences, but I’m confused about the EX and Std.

Also, it appears this bike has ABS on the rear wheel only, is that correct?
2017, red, wire wheels, 4 into 2 EX ....2014, black mag wheels 4 into 1 std
My owner ID card has CB1100E as the model and the owner’s manual says CB1100/A or CB1100/SA.

lol
Ok, so technically the only two models were E and EX then?
Not sure of model designation but in the US in 2014 there was only std and deluxe (no EX except in Japan and Europe)

also no ABS on rear wheel that is a speedo sensor ring.
Thanks, I wondered if that reluctor wheel was for the speedo.
To add to the confusion. In spite of what the card says, your standard is the CB1100/A; the DLX is the CB1100/SA. The 'E' actually denotes the year: A=2010; B=2011; C=2012; D=2013; E=2014; etc. That is linked to the year shown at digit 10 of the VIN.
Great info, thanks!
