Hello all!
I used to be a member while this was
http://cb1100forum.com/ . After an absence, had to re-register here, fortunately the same username was available. Is there any way to resurrect my posting history?

Welcome to the new forum with mostly the same look and feel. Many of the threads and posts from the original site were carried over to this site, so your posts may very well be here. Some threads and posts were deleted at the original site by moderators with the hope that by "de-overwhelming" the site it would function better. Unfortunately, it didn't seem to help much.
I think everybody had to re-register to be here. With the right key words in the "search" function, I can find my old threads easy enough, except some that were purged as I mentionded prior.
Was your username at the other site actually "rotor_imp"? When I typed "rotor" using the function "Search by Username" it suggested "rotor_imp", and when I selected it, lots of threads and posts came up with that username.

Thanks for your help, pdedse! Indeed, I conclude all usernames from old site were simply appended with "_imp" before their profiles and posts were moved to the new site. For instance, I distinctly remember this
travelogue. However, the images were not salvaged, and without those such posts are not of much interest or value.

Welcome back, rotor. Your posts from the other forum have now been added to your ID here.
I remember Rotor.
A few years ago, he took a trip from Western Canada, Alberta?, to the Maritime provineces on his black, checkered flag 2016 CB...and got stuck in Toronto traffic, along with some other incident, if I remember correctly.
Welcome back, Rotor.
Thank you, old friends...

Yes, Welcome back Rotor! Good to see you again.
