The CB1100 Community Forum

I’ve noticed that my fuel level indication seems to drop one to two bars while underway, and recovering after stopped for a few moments. Anyone know if the CB uses a digital capacitor type sensor or a resistive type?

The float on the ‘10-14s has a wiper contact on the fuel pump end that moves to different contacts and is shown as resistive on the wiring diagram. I would imagine it is the same on ‘17s.
