I’m putting together the parts for my spoke wheel conversion and now I’m looking into tires. I’m looking at a 19 front and 17 rear. I would like a narrower front tire and a beefier rear tire. The rim I’m looking at for the front is 1.85 wide and the widest rear rim I can get is 4.25 wide. The tire I’m looking at for the front is a 110-80-19 and for the rear a 160-70-17. Do these tire sizes sound like what I’m looking for? The front can’t be too narrow or too thick. I haven’t had a chance to go check out tires yet.
