He was the 'ta' in Bimota as well. That 916 is a twenty year old design and it still looks modern, a classic.
Massimo Tamburini truly was the man, for Ducati. The 916 was way ahead of it's time. With this bike he did away that boxy Ducati look of the past.
I always thought the MV F4 was waaaaay better looking than the Duc 916
