I'm heading up to Alaska to fly fish for salmon for the rest of the summer. I've enjoyed riding around this spring. The bike and I are just starting to feel real good together. My 10 month old lab puppy and I will be taking off with the truck camper. We will be catching salmon untill mid-Oct. I'll check in on the forum from the Thorne Bay public library. Enjoy the rest of the summer guys.
Thanks..hey have a great time fishing and rub the puppy's head for me.
Jeez some folks got it made. Have a great time, be careful, and eat well!
Jealous on the one hand, but wondering why one couldn't trailer the CB along on the fishing trip. LOL
Enjoy the trip, Labrador. May the fish bite for you.
I don't like to trailer 3000+ miles. I don't have aq place to drop the trailer and bike off. Trailering a cb 1100 30 miles down an Alaskan logging road to go fishing????? A man can have more than 1 love. The riding here in Pa this week has been great. Sunday I drive to Ak where I will be chasing bright fresh salmon for the next 3 months with my fly rod and my new pup. The CB will be freshly breakin serviced, battery tendered and waiting. May get a ride in this fall if the weather holds. Fresh, hot, newly entered into fresh water salmon await.
Well, at least take the ignition key and bike's picture with you to have even greater feeling while fishing...lol...
Have fun!

Enjoy your summer and maybe you'll still manage to get in some nice autumn rides upon your return. Many things have competed with my riding time over the years. One of the primary things that consumed a lot of this time was getting hooked (no pun intended) on spey fishing for steelhead right around the time I bought the CB1100.
I'm using the long rod too.
