This is meant to be a light hearted response to completing the tire change and not to be actually performed. (There, my disclaimer. I think I will apply a disclaimer to all my posts). And lets be careful out there guys!
That will work with starting fluid but it's very dangerous! Tires have blown off the rims and hurt & killed people! They make a air tank now with no air hose but a big nozzle that burst air in a tire to seat it on a rim
Never saw the zip tie technique before. Sure wish I had instead of sweating with 'spoons' while working on my sons YZ250 a few weeks ago.
I'm not sure how good that would work if you have to contend with rim locks and a tube.
