At the January 2024 Mecum Auction in Las Vegas, there will be 2 CB1100s up for bid.

The "Flying Dragon" style blue one is just a fancy paint job, not anything earth shattering. Back in the '70s, that type of paint job was rare, but now it's a normal process.

Both of these specimens look interesting.

The fairing job looks quite good - and I don't even like fairings.
The 2nd one looks very well done.

Any more info on it?

Here's the link:

Thanks for the link-

Additional pics confirm- very well done.

I’d have splurged for an aluminum over racing swingarm and changed the rear sprocket to something more aggressive.

No details written- I wonder if they at least put a tune on it. Shame to be all show, no go.

I like the cowl fairing. Is it available in red? I almost afraid to ask how much.
A 2021 CB1100EX with 726 miles just sold at auction in the UK FOR £8,893 ($11,230 USD, $16,016 CAN, $17,738 AUS. €10,722 Euro. It had a rear rack that looked like the Honda one and a tail bag.

£8,893 is made up of £7,000 bid plus 5% buyers fees then 21% sales tax on top of that.

Crazy money for a bike that is at least three years old but probably more like 4 years old. The good news, if you are a seller, is that someone out there was willing to pay that much!

The beautiful appearance of the bike is spoiled by that ugly brown saddle = the two do not match!
Looks like a Luimoto brown seat cover. And is that matching brown luggage? Can’t tell from the photo.
Yes, not mad about that brown seat Confused.
