It's the "hipsters" that worry me. Reduce motorcycles to the status of Filofaxes (remember them?), or whatever the latest must-have accessory might be. But then I'm a self confessed Grumpy Old B. What would I know.

Cheers
I think that's part of these reason I switched from sport bikes to the CB when I started riding again....better image.
It does not help the situation when some motorcycle "journalists" pepper their reports about sport and "Hooligan" bikes with images of wheelies and other lawless acts on public roads.
There is much to say about the VLAD law, but maybe not here and now. Suffice it to say that one one of evils many of its supporters don't get about it is the ease with which it can be applied to other groups a Government suddenly decides it doesn't like.
Organ donors (except for brains) on disposa-bikes.

seem like they are having fun and the police moves away to make room for it, or should I say she is outgunned

What a wuss. Here in Texas, there would have been backup and helicopters on scene in a heartbeat, and likely a few gunshots taking out engines, tires, or who know what else!

Same thing happened in Dallas. Ultimately ended up with a roadblock that nabbed a few. Cool part was that they confiscated their Go Pro cameras, and from the footage were able to ID license plates, riders, and even the location of their meetup locations. Later visits led to arrests, confiscation of stolen bikes, tickets for lack of inspection, insurance, etc. I remember there being a lot of flack over the legalities of the police actions. I am not a big fan of the overzealous police state, but it was fun to see a few of the dummies get their due.
