Wonderful to see the Suzuki doing so well with Espargaro. The real test comes tomorrow however. If he can qualify on the front row that will be special. Good to see different marques showing competitiveness. Now, will Kawasaki make a return to the premier class?

This track rewards good handling over brute horsepower. However the track is abrasive. A big question is who will go with hard tires - which starts to fade less than halfway into the race - and who will go with super hard which will be better at the end.
Marquez on pole, A. Espargaro and Ionnone complete the front row. Should be an interesting race but note that Marquez is about a half second quicker than Espargaro.
wow just walked in from a ride and find a Suzuki on front row. How cool is that since their short reintroduction to MotGP?

Well it looks like actual race starts at 3. Pre race jibber jabber for 30 mins.
There was a great fight on Moto3 for second place, with Kent again running away with the win. I am a bit disappointed by the level of the fights in Moto2 this year though, but happy that Zarco could get back the win he should have had in Qatar already.
Now bring out the big guns!
I'm thinking Rossi was 8th on the grid in Australia last year and in Qatar and won both of those. So being 8th on the grid today could be a good omen...
