I did the touratech rally this year on my '99 XR650L. It was HOT! The highs were over 100 and reached 110 in spots. It was DUSTY! So much silt and gravel made it hard to see half the time. It was GRUELING! Riding in the heat on the slippery gravel at speed for hours on end. It was FUN! I had a permanent grin most of the weekend.

Looks like it would have been a lot of fun. Beautiful scenery in the back ground. Music not my style lol.

They are having another one this August in PA. Looks like fun!
