If you are in the Mid-Atlantic area and looking for something fun to do, check out these great events! You could do them both and have a great weekend!

Like screaming jets and rocket powered trucks!? How about the Oceana Naval Air Show, Saturday, Sept 19th and Sunday the 20th?

Well then how about millions of dollars worth of exotic and collectable cars and motorcycles at a beautiful winery surrounded by American history and nice roads!?

And Aussies, particularly those living in SE Queensland, next Saturday, the 29th, is a day not to be missed. The annual Mitchell Pig Races will be held. Mitchell lies between Muckadilla and Mungallala on the Warrego Highway, 438 kms to the west of Towoomba. The Mitchell pub (10 rooms) is booked out so bring camping gear.

Cheers

Well I was. Unfortunately, or perhaps fortunately, Darling has exercised her Power of Veto. Darling has made the executive decision that at my tender age I should not be riding remote areas solo. Can't imagine why.

However, on the positive side, I have obtained interim approval to ride to the Condamine Bell Charity Rodeo in September. Will be a good warm-up for PI.

Cheers
