We've never been known for having the smartest criminals around here. Not sure that guy really thought out how he was going to get that guy's bike from him without at least brandishing some sort of weapon.
The guy on the bike is a military vet who bought the bike with money saved up from his last deployment (there is an interview of the rider out there as well), good choice of target for a carjacking.
Wow. Crazy is right. Somehow, I wasn't surprised when the scene cut to the truck on its side.
I read the hijackers wife was in the truck and was arrested later too. If true, he was abandoning his wife mid-chase.
Thank goodness most of these guys are not playing with a full deck. Makes it easier to catch them.
Apparently, Kawasaki stepped up and provided the vet with a new bike, free of charge. Good stuff.
