Ferret, you have shown that lovely covered bridge near your home in previous threads so I wanted to show a couple of Georgia's covered bridges. This trip was planned with the idea of visiting most of the 20-something covered bridges, most being in the northern half of the state. We did get to see 4 bridges before a family emergency called us home early. I was on my 2007 Tiger 1050 and Pamela on her '07 V-strom. Someday I'm going to see them all.

A beauty!!
They're great redbirds.
Very cool! Thumbs Up
Lovely and I hope you get out to see the other 16 soon.
Very nice!
Very cool birds. Covered bridges are such a part of the local history of each area.

Hope the family emergency was a minor one.

This trip was about 7 years ago. The emergency concerned an illness which, fortunately, ended well.
I try to seek out covered bridges when I can. Managed to see 5 or 6 in NH and a couple in CT last spring.

Why did they cover them in GA ? Do you get snow ?
I love covered bridges Thumbs Up Thumbs Up
This province had a great many covered bridges, but they are all gone now.
