Thrilling qualifying sessions today. BeIn Sports covered all 3 classes. A couple of incredibly nasty high sides in Moto2.

Wet conditions saw British riders Redding and Lowes qualify out of Q1. Lowes' Aprilla blew up in Q2. Makes 5 blown engines for that team. Dani couldn't get any rear grip on his Honda and wouldn't have made it out of Q2 today. Zarco pulled a stunner on the final lap to take pole.

Q2 results for MotoGP:

1 ZARCO 1'46.141
2 MARQUEZ 0.065
3 PETRUCCI 0.385
4 ROSSI 0.564
5 REDDING 1.433
6 FOLGER 1.522
7 BAUTISTA 1.671
8 CRUTCHLOW 1.901
9 DOVIZIOSO 1.938
10 LOWES 1.987
11 VIÑALES 2.125
12 PEDROSA 3.482
What a race! Best one this year, I think. Rossi was brilliant. Petrucci, Marquez, Crutchlow also rode amazing races.
Great race! Wow was that exciting! Where in the heck was Dani? Languishing in the back of the pack. Uggg.
Yeah, Dani and Jorge were way off the pace.
Told my wife Dani wouldn't do well because of the temperature. He's too light to get the needed heat in his tires. Of course Jorge needs a picture perfect day to do well, and it wasn't, so he didn't.
Today's race was fantastic! It was edge of the seat from start to the finish line. Rossi sure did look happy.
Rossi is the man! 38 years old and still wins one here and there.

All 3 races were exciting to see although my favorites didn't come out on top in any of the races it was still exciting. Hope to see an event in Spain in the not too distant future just to experience the motorcycling crowd in Europe.
Going to be funny seeing Rossi racing one of his VR46 proteges next year....
