John Haynes , the creator of the Haynes manuals recently died at age 80.
We probably all have used some of his manuals , the first one he published was for an Austin Healey Sprite as he felt that the official owners manual was not useful for the average home mechanic.
Over 200 million manuals have been sold world wide.
I have 4-5 in my collection. They have been a great help over the years.
RIP Mr. Haynes.
I also have his Service Manual for my 1100 CB = very good source.
RIP Mr. Haynes
Sad for sure. I have manuals for other bikes I no longer have.

There is a Haynes manual for the CB1100? I've looked but I've only found one for the '83 CB1100F.

I have the Honda manual for my CB1100, but I'd also like to get a Haynes manual. I have the Haynes and Honda manuals for my CB750 and it's very helpful to crosscheck any procedure in both manuals. Plus the Haynes manual more helpful pics.

RIP Mr. Haynes.
