My wife passed me down her flip phone when she spent a lot of money on new fancy cell phone. I only carry it when riding my motorcycle or walking the nature trail in the winter in case of an accident. I do occasionally turn it on to check the time when I stop on my bike.
Penny keeps asking how to use her new cell phone. Like I would know? 
I believe this why we see the droids constantly poking their cell phones. They are not doing anything useful, just trying to learn how to use the darn thing before they buy next year's more complicated and expensive one.
