Been wanting to do this for a while, but didn’t want to sacrifice a good case.
As luck would have it; did an engine restoration not too long ago and the owner didn’t want the left over parts.
The lower case was broken due to throwing a chain (loose chain or poor lubrication).

All I got is 20-years-service-recognition clock (broke out of the box) on my garage wall.

That's cool! I just have two Beavis & Butthead posters in my garage that I put up when I moved into the house. Oh, and a "40 years of the Chevy Small Block" poster, which would seem right, since I moved in to my house in 1995.
