Nothing too fancy, I was really digging the weather this weekend so I took my '14 through my favorite way out of LA county.
Anything but warm and sunny is a rarity here.

Nice so different than here. Looks like Santa Susana could use a repave. Like the angle of the camera, and no wind noise. that was nice. Attached to side of helmet?

Thanks! It definitely could use a repave, you can tell which half of it is still in LA county by the condition lol. I actually hit one of those potholes the other week and it bent my rim
Camera is mounted centered low, in front of my chin.
I could not make out the name of the windscreen. Looks good as it is not intrusive. How is it for wind and bug protection?
Looks like a great road. Santa Susana? I'll have to check that out.

Puig 0869H - Keeps a bit of wind off my body on the highway but it's nothing game changing. Does manage to catch a lot of bugs though! Pretty cheap too.

Yep, it runs parallel to the 118 between LA and Ventura county. Watch out for potholes at the top by the freeway entrance! I missed one and it bent my rim, now it's leaking air and riding sketchy. They are hard to see with all the other dark cracks on the road.

Ooooh! Nasty. Can it be straightened or is it a new wheel for you?
Cool that you got off the four-lane and onto a backroad where the real riding is.
The condition of that road looks a lot like some of our roads which take a beating due to the winter yo-yo of freezing and thawing.
Shame about the rim
