Thanks Guaza. Sometimes just the sound of the engine and exhaust note "is the music" and can be most satisfying in a video. No artificial ingredients required.

Thanks! I agree the sound of the engine is all that is needed but it’s more fun to add a little spice to keep things interesting. My goal is to create inspirational videos and besides I get the full sound of that beautiful engine in real life.
Check out this motorcycle video with zero engine noise.

This video was also taken earlier in the day on New Year's Day but finally had time to edit and upload... At the end is only wind, engine sound and 6th gear cruising. Enjoy!

Some decent engine sound behind that screen; low turbulence on the microphone.

Sound is super important to me. I’m currently using a lavalier mic close to the exhaust and GoPro’s wind mic. It creates a nice balance between wind and engine noise.

Here is final video upload. No music just minor EQ settings to reduce high unwanted frequencies. I'm climbing California's Thousand Oak Mountain on Interstate 101 Freeway heading towards Los Angeles on same day as first two videos.

If it weren't for the windshield, I thought it could be me riding. I've been on Ventura Freeway, but sadly not recently. When I want to sleep, I can fall asleep to this stuff probably in less than 60 seconds. It is soooooo mind/body relaxing. I reckon when I can't ride anymore and I am in my rocking chair, I will be drooling and clamoring to get the retirement staff to play flicks like this in a loop - forever.

And thank you for sharing with no tacky music - the Motorcycle Gods bless you!
