Where would you want to put it? If on a rack or the seat, you could tie it down from the handles with a couple of webbing straps. It's a good idea, I reckon.
I want to use them at side cases--panniers I guess

I was thinking that I could use some sort of stay that might already exist to keep soft bags in place and that would mount to the existing tie-down bolts. Anyone have any idea where I could look for this? I tried searching the forum and the Internet, but frankly, I was unsure what words to search on.
I attached some larger "amo box" like plastic boxes I found at an outdoors store. I cobled together some brackets made out of construction 90 degree angle brackets and threaded rods from menards. Worked alright but they have to much flex so the boxes bounce a bit too much. Overall I like the look and utility of them, but I want to move the turn signals so I can get the boxes back a few more inches and in closer to the bike and perhaps paint them. Also need to fab sturdier brackets, which has been the challenge.
The brackets are what I'm trying to figure out. I like the looks of your set up. If you figure out a sturdier mounting system, let me know. Also, what are the dimensions of those boxes?
The Belgian folks have a Ride Report going on over at ADV too.
I think the CBs look great with the Explorer Boxes.
Sure would make getting groceries nice and easy.
