No, the cylinder head is black. The photo was taken on a tree lined street where the sun was shining through the trees striking the bike like that. My girlfriend's son is a photographer, and he was exited about taking this and many other shots of my bike. That photo was a quick sample he sent last week. I just got a bunch more a few minuts ago, and I'll get some posted soon. I had these taken in part because I promised Takashi from Samurider about two months ago that I'd get him some good photos, since all of the mods I've made came from him.
Here's mine. Only changes are RLET's carrier and engine guards, license plate bracket mod. I have thought about taking the paint off the foot peg mounts and polishing the bare metal. Has anyone done this yet? And after seeing a few of them, I think I am gonna lose the reflectors on the forks. The red mud was just a temporary thing, don't really like the look of itTongue

Looks great. Even with the dirt! I think you forgot the after market exhaust!

Two mods and I'm done (I have since added trim to the Comet).

bike looks great- so how do you like the touring screen on the comet?
do you notice a difference? I have one but haven't put on yet (in the off season I plan to).
I like the look of it.
would be interested in your impressions..
thanks
And yet another 14 std. Only a couple small mods. I just received my next mod via UPS. It's a Windjammer fairing and a mounting kit for a CB750. This mod I will start a new thread for.
Ha my windjammer photo bombed my picture
I like this pic better

Looks great. How are you liking the Moriwaki pipes? They're on the top of my exhaust wish list currently.

Bike looks very tastefully put together.

Thanks for the compliment.

I can't say enough about how happy I am with the Moriwaki exhaust. Looks great, sounds great, added noticible performance boost. They were a breeze to install; no surprises or fitment issues. Even came with genuine Honda gaskets.

Here's a nice photo of one side.

Great to hear. Makes me want my own set even more now. I was hoping they lived up to the few sound clips I've been able to track down on YouTube.

Thanks for your review.

That's the aluminum cowl powder coated black, the Kijima grab rail, and chrome tank trim.

The engine guards (hard to see unless in a close up such as this.)

Hope I did this right. A lot harder on a phone!

Edit: I've since removed the cowl and am back to the naked front end which I prefer.

Thanks. I love the touring screen Thumbs Up It offers good protection with airflow hitting from the bottom of my visor up, and there is no buffeting. I put it on last Feb. and have no intentions of taking it off. Works great!
