Some of us use their motorcycle to commute. I would like to see pictures taken on the way to/from work. Must not be extraordinary, just a short impression.
On my commute I have a few short stretches of curvy road. Unfortunately at that time there is usually a lot of traffic.
It was fun to commute this morning, -2°C, sunny and dry air.

Django, post timing, you "instantly eliminated"

..all Canadian riders due to winter...will do our best to recover within a few months

Meantime we do this :

Peter, I hope this thread will be still there for June, July and August for the Canadian riders.

Noted Django. As PB said, it could be some time. Some local regions take longer to thaw than others.

Ottawa will have snow until the end of March. April is an ugly month with cool temperatures, rainy days, bare trees, muddy lawns, and brown plants.
Motorcycling season does not really start until May when the lawns are green, and trees and other plants start to bloom.
Yeah, Capital Oh climate short changes m/c riders. You can push the limit, but it only takes that small patch of black ice in the shade as the sun drops. Can be pretty scary indeed.
In general, most of Canada punishes m/c riders, possibly with the exception of BC coastal areas.
I like four seasons, snowy winters, warm summers, colourful falls, great smelling spring. The trick is to have hobbies to use in each; that way you can appreciate each in its' time.

I was going to climb up on the ladder this weekend while the ground was still frozen (and not a swamp), use my extension trimmer and shear the chutes off the top of the pear tree. But nooo-ooo. 25 cm of snow yesterday, and possibly 5+5 cm more this weekend.
I am done with winter. I try to keep the path to my CB clear of frozen crap, but days of freezing rain keep pushing the dream back. Nevertheless, because of yesterday, my cage is almost totally white with road salt stains.
