Last month I was my the first longer tour with my Black Beauty.
Around 2200 Km in Germany, in five days. Here some impressions:

Started in the West and went to the very East (Bayrischer Wald).

On the third day down to the boarder to Austria and through the first Alps

Then West again through the mountains to the lovely Bodensee:

On the fifth day a long way back home... This day it rained heavily, but it was still great fun riding the CB!!

This was by far the best tour I've ever had with the by far best bike I've ever owned Thumbs Up
Now the weather is getting bad over here, and I cannot stand waiting for next spring.
Welcome biker! Wow 2 new members from Germany in 1 day. Cool. Do you know each other? Great pics BTW!

Took a motorcycle tour of Germany,Switzerland, Austria, France and Lichtenstein a few years ago. What a motorcycling paradise!
Hi Ferret,
Thank you! I am not really new here, but did not post much yet.
Already read about your trip to Europe before. Seems you drove more of the streets here with the bike than I did Wink I just started again last year after many many years without a bike.
It's a pity, but I have not yet met another CB 1100 owner personally. I do not think they are selling well here. Maybe because of the speed limiter... Big Grin

is your bike fast enough for autobahn?
Really like the black!!
Ya, the black with black sidecovers is nice. Double gold pinstriping on the tank would be the bee's knee's. Rides like that just make you want to go out and do more. Smile

Well ... here is another German - with his "Black Friday" bike. Big Grin
I bought it although it has a 180 km/h limiter. To be honest, I do not ride so fast with a naked bike, it would simply pull my arms about some inches. Big Grin
Biker,
Those pics from the Alps make me incredibly jealous... Somehow, Eastern Pennsylvania doesn't look as nice.
That looked like an awesome trip.

Thank you. Yes, it was an awesome trip, and I can't wait for next spring. But also Germany is not everywhere so nice, and I need to ride a full day to reach the Alps. I am sure you've got some very nice places also in Pennsylvania...
