Nice Mick, and look at those classics. 76 Suzuki Gt 750 ( had one, one of my all time favorite motorcycles) and an H or KH Kawasaki. You do get to see a great variety of bikes over there, don't you?

Looks like '70s heaven!

Mickey, I believe that is a '74 model, (Dark Purple), Kawi 750, not sure if they were calling them H-2's or KH's by that time. It was a little milder tune that the originals. Sigh, Good times

Edit.....Although it could be a KH400, but I don't think, they were considerably smaller.

Hmmm......going on a ride in a few, wonder where I can get Fish & Chips. Oh Yeah! Theres a place in Fort Worth.

I think KH's came in about 76. I know the Buffalos a 76 because thats when they got locking gas cap covers

I've been reading a magazine from the U.K., titled "Practical Sportbike", I'm sure most have seen it. Nice magazine, lots of info about older bikes.

Mick, it seems there are a lot of 2-strokes from all eras operating in the U.K., do the emissions laws allow for them? Or am I just seeing things?
Suzuki was ahead of the times back then weren't they? Liquid cooled 2-stroke, they had a rotary engined bike as well.

Where everyone gathers every Sunday is cslled Matlock Bath. Two strokes of all kinds and the law just turns a blind eye.

Suzuki first released what we used to call the "water bottle", the two-stroke, water cooled 750cc in 1971. A mate of mine had one and it seemed very big and very fast in those days. Not to mention being odd because it was water cooled. Who'd a thunk air cooled bikes would become the curiosity?

Wow a Velocette..looks in perfect shape too. Never actually seen one of those on the road. That pic on the bridge does look like a zoo. That's quite a gathering.

I would travel to the U.K. just to spend a Sunday at Matlock Bath, that would be so cool. Man, that is like a time machine. The Velocette, the old BSA's, there's even an AMF Harley Sportster, I didn't know any of those made it to the 21st century.
