One of the great things about fall in the Midwest is all the trees changing color from their summer greens to their autumnal reds, yellows, oranges and browns. Love the color change. Here in the Midwest when the leaves are at their peaks if you can find the right ridge top with a view of surrounding ridge tops it can be spectacular. Like a brilliant color palate. Took a ride this morning on some local roads with the sole purpose of seeing some color, although it looks like the peak is still a few weeks away..

this farmer is about due to be getting his feed corn out of the field. A lot of it has already been harvested around here

Great shots! I love the road, the scenery and, of course, the bike! People like to say that we don't have a change of seasons in San Diego but that's not entirely true. It's certainly nothing like the rest of the country experiences but we do have our own changes in color (and temperature). You've inspired me to go chase some colors myself!

I love Fall riding but we are a week or more behind you on the PA/MD border. Corn is yellow and a few leaves have dropped but it's still mostly green around here:

Nice shots. We get little color change in south Georgia other than a few maples and sweet gums. We do get a raft of colorful fall flowers though and they are starting to come on.

Autumn (Fall) is a beautiful season. There's not much of it where I live. Ow, sadly, and I miss it. Great photos all.

We've been having great fall weather and the fall colours are nearly at their peak, but not as good as usual as we've had an unusually dry summer.
