I've seen a few people with this on some posts, high mileage types.
Only one town for me so far..........
Ive ridden in 37 states a couple provinces in Canada and 5 countries in Europe.
Have a couple of pockets left to hit all the lower 48. In the central plains North and South Dakota.. In the south Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana and Arkansas,...and in New England Connecticut, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland. Guess I have some planning and riding to do.

Wow. Good work posting it, didn't work when I tried. Did you see the other sections of the world you can fill out? Lifetime I have a few more states, nothing major yet.
Cool site I saw on http://www.sheridesabeemer.com/2009/01/m...s-too.html if anyone has a girl on a beemer.
Didn't work posting it for me either so I saved it to a photo file, downloaded it to photobucket and posted from there.
I just made mine my avatar Shy
Most of this was done in an 18 wheeler, but not all. I'm not sure if I have the butt to bike that many miles.

Our forum posts would have to allow the posting of HTML code, for it to actually render the map. The code is using a Google API (Application Programming Interface) to reach out and grab the map image, and then passing code to it that tells it which states to color in.

Forum software that I have dealt with in the past typically has the enabling of HTML code an option you can turn on, or off. Having it on means that users can include active code (like this) in their postings, pulling in content from elsewhere, which can be dangerous. In general, it is best to leave it disabled, unless your REALLY trust your users.
