2015, January 10th. I rode down to the Thunder By The Bay bike event in Sarasota Fl. 115 miles or so round trip...and a cold start at that - 51 degrees.. I wish I had not left my heated gloves in Georgia!! Ferrett, I know you ride in even colder temps with ease...but my Florida blood is THIN. Anyway, the show (if you want to call it that) was Ok, but it did get me excited for Daytona in March. Here's the proof...

Good job ride4now, 51 is nippy. It's still fun to get out and feel the " tilting horizon" as someone else put it, and a 100 miler+ is a good one. Love the 2 nd pic! What kind of stores do you have?

FWIW... I ONLY ride in weather colder than that because I am forced to. My preference would be 70 and above. If my family hadn't moved back to Ohio from Florida in 1960 you might have seen me out riding today lol

I don't know what riding my cb in 51 degrees is like. nice pictures. I would love to ride Florida sometime.
