Last Thursday, May 14, here in Germany is a holiday, which we also call Father's Day. Many of us then take one day off (Friday) to have a long weekend.

We, a group of 4 friends, took our motorcycles and headed out for a 4 days tour at Thursday morning.

Here are the routes, we did on the 4 days:

Fr: 366 km
Sa: 343 km
Su: 491 km

overall: 1,595 km (mostly back country roads thru the landscape)

How did the headlight work? Lol

Well, all I was seeing was a black box..hence the headlight comment, but now theres a youtube video popping up.

The map indicates some good roads on that ride Django.

Nice ride. I have ridden the area bounded by Frankfurt, Trier, Stuttgart and Nuremburg on a number of occasions and loved it. The roads, the beautiful countryside, lovely places to stay and hospitable people made for some memories I will always be fond of. Funny though, I don't recall those great open plains in the video. Maybe they are up North .
