Your damage looks almost identical to mine. I had a car pull out of the right hand lane directly in front of me. Got hard on the brakes and managed to lock up the front wheel and went down on the right side. Car kept going and nobody else bothered to stop. Got at quote from Pro Honda for $4.5k. Still waiting on Shannons insurance to let me know what's happening with the bike.
Some pics of mine. There was some other minor damage...bars,scrape on front guard and trashed my nice MRA screen.

Yeah, just bruised my right leg and took the arse out of my jeans. First time I have stepped off since 1974. Was on my way to bike night at Harry's diner.

Sorry to hear this Tezza, but glad to hear your are not hurt badly. Those are some serious gouges in the engine case. That's $4.6K damage? wow! How fast would you say you were going?

Probably not fast...about 60kph. Was coming up to a set of lights in the left lane and got a green light. There was a car in the right lane turning right and the idiot behind him decided he couldn't wait and pulled out in front of me. Bike is still rideable..just a bit bruised and scraped like me. It all good and I should have it in for repair next week.

Didn't know about Harry's Diner. Might check it out next time I'm in Brisbane.

First Wednesday of the month. Starts at about 6pm. A couple of hundred bike there is pretty common.

That could have turned out much worse. Glad you were not seriously hurt.

Hopefully your CB will be repaired soon and you can get back on two wheels.
