Rode to Tallahassee this week to spend a couple days with my brother and family. I also used this time to scout some of the Canopy Roads not yet ridden. Fall is in the air and the early morning ride was comfortably cool. Except for a section of lightly traveled four-lane on US84 my route followed farm and timber country back roads. There were also some good twisty sections along the way to enhance the pleasures of the lovely scenery.




























I had a wonderful visit. My brother builds and repairs guitars for a living and plays gigs at local night spots in between so we spent much time in his shop talking music. He played the oldies rock and blues on his guitar and we sang the lyrics from memory. It was like we were kids again.

Great shots redbirds. Those roads are just begging to be ridden. The time with your brother sounds cool too. I wish my brother was a musician. Then again, he runs a wine and spirits distribution warehouse. There are benefits to that too. It doesn't take long before we're singing lyrics to songs that don't exist, from memory.

A little nip always improves the singing voice.
