Resurrected this thread because I read that a sinkhole gobbled up a large section of beach here. Probably wouldn't have given the news story a second thought if this forum had not introduced me to folks who have ridden there.

Sinkholes are weird. There was just one here in Cinti that looked like a railway tunnel under the street. Small hole size of a basketball on edge of road. Someone stuck a camera in there and saw the whole road was endanger of collapsing. Cars and trucks passing by over head had no idea.

What a glorious ride.
